Install Guide

Install Guide

Install your AgentUpSkills pack using the platform that best fits how you work. Setup differs by platform, and platform interfaces can change over time, so this guide covers the current official install routes for ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity Computer, and Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Before you start

Before installing your pack:

  • Download your purchased ZIP file.
  • Save a local copy so you always have the original files.
  • Open the ZIP and review the included Start Here or wrapper file first.
  • Choose the platform you want to use below.

Some platforms support direct skill upload, while others use a different model such as agents.

If you do not see the Skills option, your current ChatGPT plan may not support Skills yet, or your workspace admin may not have enabled them.

  2. Go to the Skills page.

Upload Microsoft 365 Copilot custom agents
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/copilot/microsoft-365/agent-essentials/agent-lifecycle/agent-upload-agents

Important note

Microsoft currently uses the term agents rather than end-user skills for Microsoft 365 Copilot. For this platform, the closest equivalent to installing a reusable workflow is usually adding an agent or, for admins, uploading a custom agent.

How to add an agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot

  1. Open the Microsoft 365 Copilot app.
  2. Select All Agents.
  3. Open the agent you want to use.
  4. Click Add.

Some agents may show Request approval instead, depending on your organisation’s setup.

How to use agents in Microsoft 365 Copilot

Agents are available in both the Web and Work tabs. You can use:

  • Pre-built agents
  • Agents created by others in your organisation
  • Your own agents

You can also share a link to an agent to help someone else find and use it.

Organisation-managed custom agent upload

If your organisation manages Copilot centrally, Microsoft documents a ZIP-based admin upload flow:

  1. Open Copilot Control System in the Microsoft 365 admin centre.
  2. Select Agents > Upload custom agent.
  3. Choose the ZIP file.
  4. Review name, icon, and host products.
  5. Assign users.
  6. Review permissions and capabilities.
  7. Finish deployment.

Troubleshooting

I cannot see a Skills option in ChatGPT

Your current plan may not support Skills, or your workspace admin may not have enabled them.

I cannot see Skills in Claude

Make sure Code execution and file creation is enabled in Settings > Capabilities first.

Perplexity will not accept my upload

Check that:

  • Your file is a .zip with SKILL.md at the root, or a direct .md
  • SKILL.md includes YAML frontmatter with a name and description
  • The file is under 10 MB

I do not see the agent I want in Microsoft 365 Copilot

Open All Agents and add it from there. If you see Request approval, your organisation may require approval before you can use that agent.
